Quilting For Hope is a series of projects that we are very proud to sponsor.
#1 Scarves, sleep caps, and fleece hats made for the Sletten Cancer Institute. We have the patterns for several types of caps that are delivered to the new cancer unit in Great Falls, Montana. The caps are then distributed to the women and or children free of charge. It is the best way to touch someone's life with the gift of time.
#2 We are also contributors to the Regional and State Montana Breast & Cervical Cancer Coalalition Quilts. Our gals are making six blocks from coordinating fabric for the Pondera County contribution. Jill Espeseth a five year survivor has volunteered to do the quilting.
#3 The ladies that attend our retreats will be making red, white, and blue blocks for Liberty House in Helena, Montana. The project is to make bed-sized quilts. Liberty House is the equivilant of the (Ronald McDonald House) for the family of Veterans while their loved ones are being treated at Fort Harrison.
#4 Rock City ladies make a quilt each year for a deserving family that could use a lift. It's important for them to know someone cares!
